Bankruptcy
By the time you decide to consider filing bankruptcy, you feel like you have hit rock bottom. You want to call a lawyer, but you feel embarrassed to even explain how you ended up in your situation. Bankruptcy is intended to help people, not shame people. Most of the people that I meet with have either had a medical crisis which landed them with catastrophic bills from providers threatening to sue, or were laid off or divorced and had to live off of credit cards to survive those challenging times. There is no shame in this. You are human and entitled to a fresh financial start in these situations. If you are concerned with losing your home or garnishments, I would like to meet with you to discuss your situation and see if bankruptcy is the right decision for you.
